What is your cancellation policy?

I require at least 24 hours notice for any changes to your appointment. Please understandthat without proper notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that time. As a courtesy, confirmations are sent out 72 hours in advance, and an email remainder is sent out 24 hours before your appointment, however, you are responsible for remembering your appointment time.

For cut or color appointments, any no-shows or appoinments cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours prior to your appointment, will result in a fee equal to 50% of the services booked. All cancellations for hair extensions will also result in a forfeiture of your retainer for new installations. If rescheduling an extension appoinment, half of your retainer may be applied toward rescheduling one time. All fees must be paid before any future appointments can be scheduled.

**Those who miss appointments or reschedule repeatedly may be asked to pre-pay for their appointment**

I understand that emergencies do arise, and on those rare occasions, I will handle each on a case-by-case basis.

I heard it was best to color dirty hair, is that true?

​

This is a common misnomer! This was something that used to be said "back in the day" and has continued to be passed on for generations. Color nowadays is much more gentle, and any extra oils or product in your hair can prevent color from covering properly, and prevent hair from lightening effectively.  That being said, please make sure you arrive with clean, dry hair for best results. A clarifying shampoo the day before your appointment is even better!

I got home and I'm just not loving my hair, what can I do?

I want you to love you hair! If for any reason you feel I missed the mark and an adjustment need to be made, please contact me within 48 hours of your service. I am happy to make minor adjustments that align with our original consultation within 7 days of the original service. Adjustments that alter the original plan, or  are requested after 48 hours of the original service will require full payment. Due to time spent and product used, no refunds will be issued.

I don't like the product I purchased, can it be returned?

It is important to me that you love your products. In the event that you do not, hair products may be exchanged for another product of equal or lesser value. Product returns must be made within 7 days of your original purchase date. No refunds will be issued.

I don't have a babysitter. Is it ok to bring my kids with me to the salon?

​

The environment in a salon is meant to be a getaway from the stresses of daily life. In order for it to stay that way, children must be properly supervised for the safety and satifaction of all. I ask that children be present only when being provided a service.Chemicals, hot tools, and sharp objects are present at all times, making it very dangerous for children.Please arrange seperate supervision for your children during your appointment so that you may relax and fully enjoy your service. 

Can I purchase my own hair for hair extensions?

 I am familiar  with the quality of the hair extension  brands I choose to work with, and how long it will last in most cases. I use luxury hair brands that are ethically sourced, 100% human hair. When properly maintained, this hair should last 6-8 months on average. Due to the nature of how color is processed, blondes may last a little less, burnettes, a little longer.

​

Because I cannot guarantee the quality of hair purchased elsewhere, I will only work with hair that I have purchased. I do make an exception for hair that was previously installed through another professional and certified stylist.
